Gambling, Cake, and Friends....Great combination!

For my 21st birthday Robert took me to Wendover with a couple of our friends Bryce and Jess. We went and ate at the buffet, which was actually really good. We of course had to test out my gambling skills. I was hoping for some luck for my birthday but found that I am not too good at any type of gambling. I tried my luck at Roulette, Blackjack, and a couple slot machines before I l

ost all of my money. The most exciting part was getting my ID checked around 12:30am on my actual birthday.
Luckily luck was on Robert's side and he was able to win back what I lost and then some!
When we came back the next day Robert made me my favorite dinner, spaghetti! Then he made my favorite cake and we had some friends over to help us eat it. It was a great day and I am happy to be 21!

Our Story

Robert and I met in February of 2006. My roommate was in her car leaving to go meet some friends and I ended up catching her just in time to go(I didn't plan on going at the time). We ended up going on a very random scavenger hunt and later met up with all the rest of the group. Robert was there and was hilarious(and so cute of course). I had to leave early for a blind date I had that night and Robert volunteered to give me a ride home. We exchanged numbers within the week and after our first date have been inseparable ever since. We were married June 7th, 2008 and couldn't be happier with married life.
