Momma's Girl

I was so lucky to have my mom up this past weekend. My mom is seriously the nicest person you'll ever meet. I have been missing her so much so I was ecstatic to have her catch a ride up here for the weekend. My mom has always been my best friend and it is hard to go so long without seeing her. She even brought me some adorable things to decorate my apartment with! She knows that I have been looking everywhere for decorating items and she found exactly what I wanted-she is the best! We were able to get together with some family on Saturday morning to grab breakfast from Magelby's Fresh-the best french toast ever by the way-it was so fun to see everyone and visit for a while. (My mom is the cute lady on the far right of the bottom group pic!) Then Lauralee and Camden came with us to the BYU book store so we could grab some things Ryan wants us to send him in the Philippines. After that she came with me to a funeral, sadly the sweetest girl from my work past away after a car accident last week, I was glad that my mom was able to go with me for that. Even some of the people from my work that only met her once at my wedding already call my mom, mom. We got to go up to Logan on Sunday to visit my grandparents. They have a new dog and they are so cute with him!
My grandparents are doing so well for their age and are always so fun to be with. I always love being able to see family and visit. We watched Persuation and it was interesting that all they seemed to do was go around visiting family- I was a little bit jealous!
The time came for my mom to leave way too soon! I was so glad that I at least got a fantastic weekend with her, hopfully we will be able to work it out to see them soon!!

Park City Fun

Josh, Sharon, Dean and Lauralee

Lanae and Jordon

This past weekend we went to Park City with some cousins and friends. We went and walked around the outlet mall, enjoying the chilly air....well some enjoyed while the wimps(me) froze. Then we went over to the Moose Grill, which Lauralee found online and looked really great......although when we called for reservations no one answered. We found out when we got there that it was because they were closed for remodeling! We deciding to go to a grill next door....after getting our drinks we were informed that they had practically nothing on the menu left so we deciding to go down to a local pizza place. The pizza ended up being great and we probably spent a lot less at least. Then we stopped by the Rocky Mountain Chocolate factory for a quick chocolate fix before heading home.

Here is Robert and I with Lauralee and Dean's cute baby Camden-and no we are not practicing family photos for anything in the near future!

Tricks and Treats

Halloween is always so much fun. This year we got to have Doug and Jamie come down from Idaho to stay with us and hang out over Halloween. We started off the night with a little Rock Band, boy band vs. girl band, and the girls unfortunately lost, but I think it's due to the fact that the boys used to play for days on end while us girls sat and watched. After that we went up to Chipotle in Salt Lake City. For those of you who didn't know, Chipotle gives away free burritos on Halloween if you dress up like a burrito(all you need is a little tin foil). So we took advantage of this and went to two Chipotles :) After getting stuffed we headed over to Nightmare on 13th and enjoyed getting scared a couple times. It was another great Halloween and now on to Thanksgiving!

Here is Robert showing his love of taking pictures....
