More to celebrate

Last night Robert and I went to Robert's work, Prosper's Christmas party. We rode up with Tim and Janessa and luckily didn't hit any snow. The party was at the Grand America Hotel in Salt Lake City. I love that hotel! It is so elegant and was decorated with proper festivity for Christmas :) The appetizers were probably the best part-sooo good. I think it's the first time I've been somewhere where they walk around with appetizer plates and you get to just graze around. The rest of the food was great too, including Grand America's delicous bread pudding-yum! We had a fun time talking with Robert's work buddies and listening to some success stories from using the Prosper programs. We also got to watch Chelsea Hightower dance which was a highlight for me! I love getting dressed up and going out during the holidays so I'm glad that we got to go to this!

Christmas Party!

Last Friday some of our friends braved the snow(others were snowed in....so they say :) ) and got together for a Christmas party at Carly's house. We had fun just hanging out, eating, eating, and playing a little gift exchange game. I was so glad to see some of our good friends and a couple of their cute kids-they are all so cute and growing up way too fast! I wish we all lived in a neighborhood together so we could see each other more often.

How many months now?!?

Robert and I have been married for just over six months now. We have no idea where all that time went! With school, work, and fun with friends the time has really flown by. It has been a great start for our life together and we are so excited for the year mark, and many more after that. We like to go for drives up the canyon a lot and so we celebrated by doing just that. I though it might be cool to get some pictures of our hands....but they didn't turn out to great, oh well! The canyon was beautiful and we had so much fun just talking and enjoying the ride. As you can see this was before all the coldness and snow!

Not as innocent as he looks...

Sure he may look innocent...but be advised, he will get you when you least expect! Robert has recently re-discovered his favorite game-scaring me half to death!! He will hide in the closet at night(I hate that one), or in the hall, or will come up on the side of the bed during the night-in the dark, and always gets me! Everytime I get just as scared, no matter how many times he does it!!! I have decided to fight back though, yesterday I actually was successful in scaring him for once when I hid in the hallway :) I think I'm going to have to be creative to scare him again though...I'll have to keep you updated.
