After all that driving we were more than ready to get to Arcata. Here are some of he things I love most about this part of California and in particular Patrick's point:
The scenery, green everywhere!
All the fun hikes-there was always some great exploring to do.
The weather is perfect there-their record high temp ever was 79 degrees!
This guy-I got to spend every second with him!!!

did you know that humboldt is where i went to high school?? it's beautiful, but there is not much to do there for high schoolers haha i'm so glad you got to see it though!
I didn't! How fun-I can see how there isn't much to do as a high schooler though:)
